BCCEC Participates in Commonwealth Trade and Investment Summit April 2026

Representatives of the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers’ Confederation (BCCEC) recently participated in the Commonwealth Trade and Investment Summit 2026, held on April 20–21, 2026, at the historic Mansion House in London. Under the theme “Commonwealth Solutions to Global Challenges,” the summit explored key areas shaping the future of global economies.


Hosted by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, the Summit brought together Heads of Government, Ministers, and senior business leaders from across the Commonwealth for two days of panel discussions and strategic networking.


While in London, the delegation also paid a courtesy call to Paul A. Gomez, High Commissioner of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the Court of St. James’s the United Kingdom. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss matters of importance to the Chamber, as well as opportunities to further strengthen relations between The Bahamas and the United Kingdom.


The Chamber remains committed to engaging in international forums that promote dialogue, foster partnerships, and position The Bahamas for continued economic growth and global competitiveness.
