An exciting opportunity awaits nationals of CARIFORUM States interested in legislative drafting and understanding international trade agreements.
You could be sponsored to complete an online postgraduate microprogram with the University of Ottawa and earn 6 credits towards a graduate programme in Law! The microprogram provides training in legislative drafting (both common law and civil law) and also in international trade. Selected CARIFORUM nationals will gain further tools and knowledge to better understand the CARIFORUM-EU Economic Partnership Agreement.
The Legislative Drafting and International Trade Professional Development Postgraduate Microprogram is part of the Capacity Building in Legal Drafting Project that is financed by the European Union under the 11th European Development Fund Caribbean Regional Indicative Programme, and executed by ARCA Consortium on behalf of CARIFORUM.
One aim of the project is to build capacity in CARIFORUM States in the areas of treaty and legislative drafting through training and sponsorship of selected participants.
