Dear BCCEC Members,

The Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Authority, in collaboration with The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers Confederation (BCCEC), is reaching out to members of the business community across the country to better understand your needs and capabilities when it comes to disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.

We know that local businesses play a critical role in national resilience, not just in keeping communities functioning after a disaster, but also in protecting livelihoods and supporting employees through every phase of an emergency.

This survey is designed to help us:

• Understand what support your business needs to prepare for and recover from natural disasters.

• Identify ways the DRM Authority can help empower your business and workforce.

• Learn what assets businesses may have that can assist in a disaster response.

• Map the kinds of businesses that exist throughout The Bahamas to improve future engagement.
