  • The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers’ Confederation (BCCEC) has a new chairman, Don Williams, following the Chamber’s annual general meeting and board of directors election on November 20, 2025.


    A release from the BCCEC said: “This year, the Chamber received an overwhelming number of nominations for the board of directors, leading to an exciting election race. Don Williams of Island Run Bahamas Ltd. was elected chairman for a two-year term, succeeding Timothy Ingraham. Williams has served on the Chamber board since 2021, serving two years as treasurer before being elected vice chairman in 2023.

  • The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers Confederation’s (BCCEC) upcoming Business Readiness Expo tomorrow will put entrepreneurs in a better position to start their businesses.


    Dr. Leo Rolle, executive director of the BCCEC, told Guardian Business yesterday: “We at the Chamber believe that we have a level of responsibility to teach entrepreneurs – especially those fledgling entrepreneurs – the principles, the ideals, and the wherewithal that helps them get to the next level.

  • NASSAU, THE BAHAMAS – The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers' Confederation (BCCEC) held its Annual General Meeting and Board of Directors election on November 20, 2025. This year, the Chamber received an overwhelming number of nominations for the Board of Directors, leading to an exciting election race. Don Williams of Island Run Bahamas Ltd. was elected Chairman for a two-year term, succeeding Timothy Ingraham. Mr. Williams has served on the Chamber Board since 2021, serving two years as Treasurer before being elected Vice Chairman in 2023.
