Happy Holidays! We are delighted to present this month's newsletter from the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce!
The BCCEC recently held its Annual General Meeting on November 30th, 2023, where Mr. Timothy Ingraham was elected as the new Chairman of the BCCEC Board for the 2023 - 2025 term. Alongside him, we welcomed 10 Board Directors, a mix of returning and new faces, who will contribute their expertise and dedication to our organization. The BCCEC also said goodbye to Mrs. Khrystle Rutherford-Ferguson, who will now serve as our Immediate Past Chairman on our Executive Committee.
In recent news, the BCCEC issued a press release urging the Government to consider delaying the implementation of the Audit Requirement. We also encourage you to peruse our Trade Information section, where you will find information on various trade expos scheduled for the upcoming year.
Lastly, we would like to inform you that the BCCEC Office will be closed for the holiday season, starting on Friday, December 15th, and reopening on January 2nd, 2024. As we bid farewell to this eventful year, we extend our warmest wishes to our members for a joyous holiday season filled with happiness, peace, and prosperity. Thank you for your continued support of the BCCEC, and we look forward to serving you in the coming year.
