BCCEC Board Retreat Recap | May 2022


The BCCEC Board recently held their Board Retreat on Saturday, May 14th to discuss and set priorities for 2022 and 2023. The Board retreat was held at the Balmoral Club and was facilitated by A. Gabriella Fraser, Founding Principal & Managing Director, The Vivian Group Ltd.


Strategy sessions were conducted in areas of importance such as membership services, advocacy, community advancement, and economic development. Additional sessions centered on SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats), Recruiting, Engaging & Retaining Members, and Helping Members Thrive in a Challenging Economy. The priorities will be incorporated into strategic plans going forward.
