Dear BCCEC Members,
Yesterday, Prime Minister Minnis, revealed his new plans that lead to the appointment of a Minister of State for Disaster Relief and Reconstruction. His statement also speaks to his commitment to overhaul the emergency readiness capacity of our country.
We are pleased to advise that the Prime Minister heard our request on behalf of the private sector to ensure that local vendors were afforded equal opportunity to provide the much-needed supplies for the rebuilding effort.
While we applaud the initial step, we know that there is still work to be done to refine the terms of reference and the plan of execution. Hence we invite you to review the statement attached below and provide your feedback where necessary.
Your Chamber is working for you!
