The objective of this forum is to provide an opportunity to review the role, relevance, and interest of the private sector entities in various areas of climate change mitigation and adaptation financing, the recognition for contributions of private sector actors to green growth in The Bahamas, and raise awareness among private sector actors in the country on the Green Climate Found (GCF) procedures and funding opportunities.

This forum will also discuss the importance and necessity for strengthening public-private partnership in driving climate action in The Bahamas. Ultimately, the goal of this exercise is to generate project ideas that would meet the GCF criteria for funding.

This forum is aimed primarily for those in the Financial (including Insurance), Energy, Tourism and Construction sectors, however, all members are welcomed to participate.
