The annual Bahamas Energy Security Forum (BESF) will be held on March 24th, 2020, at The University of the Bahamas, the home of our future leaders, in the Harry C. Moore Auditorium.

The idea of securing energy is of national importance, as the realities of climate change continue to be a part of the Bahamian way of life. The recent passage of Hurricane Dorian has brought this reality to our doorsteps, so now is the time for us to respond. With that in mind, the theme this year is “Chain Reaction - A series of events, each caused by the previous one"

This one-day forum will bring together public and private sector representatives that will share best practices and formulate the way forward in building a more resilient Bahamas.

Topics to be featured include:

  • Surviving the Storm and its Aftermath, Lessons Learned
  • Weak Links exposed by Hurricane Dorian
  • Transportation without Fossil Fuels
  • Building Communities, not Houses
  • Alternative Energy is Alive and Well

COST: $67.20 Members (VAT Included) $84.00 Non-Members (VAT Included)

RSVP Deadline: March 21st, 2020

Location: Harry C. Moore Library, University of The Bahamas

SEATS MUST BE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE (No Refunds)
