Just to the northeast of Andros, on the northeastern edge of the Great Bahama Bank, lie the Berry Islands because of the abundance of berries on the island a stirrup-shaped chain of 30 cays and numerous smaller islets. The Berries Islands are largely uninhabited islands which offer spectacular diving and snorkeling and are known for championship sport fishing, second only to Bimini for both divers and snorkelers. Adorned with palm trees and fringe with powder white sand, here you can find a multitude of magical harbors and swim-ashore beaches, to relax and play on.
